How Ayurvstra works on the body?
The skin is the largest organ in the body, absorbing over 60% of what
we put onto it. It takes just fifteen minutes to enter our
bloodstream. Ayurvastra works on this concept , Due to the alarming
rise in asthma, skin allergies and rashes caused by toxic chemical
dyes, people are turning more and more to natural alternatives like
ayurvastra.
The use of the Ayurvedic cloth is based on the principle of touch. By
coming into contact with the cloth - which has micro-encapsulated
medicinal herbs, plants, flowers, roots and barks imbued, woven and
then fixed into the fabric - the body actually loses toxins and it’s
metabolism is enhanced.
The Ayurvedic cloth is woven and undergoes a herbal dying process
twice. Ayurvedic gum fixes the herbal properties permanently into the
cloth’s fibres. This process ensures the product’s properties remain
active - even when washed repeatedly following the care guidelines
Now the growing awarness about organic and health conciesness among
the people has created a big market for organic food / organic
clothing etc,
in 1996 germany had banned the toxic chemicaly dyed fabrics because a
research found that many skin diseases are due to toxic dyed clothing
, as 50% of the pesticide is used for cotton cultivation , and the
pesticide is abosrbed by the cotton and from the field to fashion all
the process including the dyeing was toxic chemical subsquently more
than 60 countries had banned chemical based dyeing ,
In india people in ancient time used natural and also ayurvedic
based clothes, even now in south india there is a custome that a new
born baby is kept in herbal and ayurvedic dyed towels, even gauthama budda was
wearing turmeric clothes,
natural kavi textile was also popular , but unfortunatly after 18th
century due to the
cheap chemicals dyeing materials, textiles manufactures used chemical
dyeing and spoiled the land , water and environments,
now the global warming is also due to this industrial pollution ,
increase in various diseases like cancer is also due to the harmful
chemical contents in fabics / foods /environments , today almost all the food
items has been either polluted or gene modified , even the cow has
been genetalically modified , so even the milk is not organic.
Remedy for textile dyeing
We have revived the age old traditional dyeing method using ayurvedic
herbs and the fabrics or textiles made using this dyeing method has
capacity to prevent many diseases which has been sucessfully tested by
a team of ayurvdic doctors,
even natural dyeing there are small chemical is addes as moderator but
in our dyeing this moderator is also taken from naturally,
This concept is very well applied commercially as any trdational
technique will survive only it is commercially sucessfull so we also
support others to do this concept as a business , one way it is useful
to preserve the eco system as our dyeing waste is used as manuares for
plants, so promoting ayurvastra means it saves land / water/ air from chemical
pollution.
